Packaging is such a difficult word to pin down. Hangtags and silky strings. Blow mold injection bottles. Boxes made of cardboard or leather-wrapped with satin hinges. Foil packettes and tiny misters. Reclosable food pouches with gas-permeable surfaces and zip-locks, oh, and recyclable, too. Or paper shopping bags with durable (yet pretty) handles and graphics that call out on sidewalks. Ah, packaging: one part branding, one part work of art. And several parts engineering and technology. (But that's what makes it interesting.)
